This year’s spring musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown was a great success. In the first musical Baylor has put on since 2019, beloved characters from the Peanuts comics were brought to life on stage.
Many thanks to everyone who came out to support this exciting show and to the whole cast and crew who worked so hard over the last few months to bring it together. After months of music, dance, and scene rehearsals, there was an invited dress rehearsal Tuesday, April 26, attended by many faculty and staff members, then a seventh grade matinee on Wednesday, the 27 before opening that night. The show ran Wednesday through Sunday and had a great turnout all weekend.
The COVID-19 pandemic put the theater program on hold for a long time, as it did for many other Baylor traditions. From performances outside Roddy to skits at the flagpole, the Baylor Players have worked tirelessly to get the program back on its feet, and this show was truly the fruit of their labors.
