Found Poem: Closure
Evelyn Ludwick, Sierra Haberhern, and Starr Hinton

Dear God, dear stars, dear trees, dear sky, dear peoples, dear everything:

They think womens love just by accident.
What would she love?
I start to wonder why us need it.
Minds, completely riveted on each other... why?
I think us here to wonder, myself
Old fools left over from love,
keeping each other company under the stars.

Then the old devil put his arms around me,
But he begin to be somebody I can talk to.
I don't have nothing to offer him

It's times like this make me know
us didn't make the world,
Because everyone still so mad bout being unwanted.

But now my heart is in my mouth and I can't move.

In wondering bout the big things and asting bout the big things,
You learn about the little ones,
Almost by accident.
The more I wonder, the more I love.
Everybody learn something in life,
Then I figure this the lesson
I was suppose to learn.

Women, it seem like to me, is what I love best.
