There was a moment on earth
Strange to think of it now
Gradually then suddenly
Everything fell silent
There lurked a number of large questions
He made a number of wrong turns
He’d kept his word, though
Moments he was proud of
But what would be out there?
There were inexplicable moments of peace
He saw ghosts of himself everywhere
He wanted to be remembered
But words failed him
The world had emptied out
