In the Photoshop Art Project 7th graders learn about digital design by creating their own magazine covers using basic Adobe Photoshop skills. They learn about advertising and layout, and employ the principles of design to create a one of a kind design starting who? Themselves!
The Day of the Dead Diorama is inspired by the Mexican Holiday, whose traditions 7th graders learn about and then portray in their Dioramas. The students sculpt in clay, collage with paper or found objects, and paint to create these colorful multicultural and highly personal works of art.
