As many of you know, the flooding of the lower fields of Baylor's campus has presented some challenges. Athletic Director Thad Lepcio and our spring season coaches have worked hard to find alternative playing and practice fields, and our students have been great about finding alternative parking spaces. However, once the high water on the fields and back road/parking area recedes to normal levels there will be a period of time where the area will still be off limits due to the necessary clean-up of sediment and possible contamination from raw sewage. This could potentially be an issue well into April and perhaps even into May. Once the areas are cleared for use, we will inform the campus and Baylor community, but until further notice, please do not access the lower fields even when flood waters have receded.
The Class of 2019 Senior Trip takes place May 23 - May 30. We have posted a packing list and other information, including the release form, which needs to be returned by May 1.
A group of 10 Baylor students and three faculty and staff members have left for Jamaica on the annual Spring Break community service trip.
