Midwinter Night's Blast is Feb. 20 and 21

The annual Midwinter Night's Blast concert will take place Wednesday, Feb. 21 and Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. in Roddy Theater.

This fun evening showcases the talents of The Nighthawks and includes faculty band members Bernard Fertal (bass and vocals), Takisha Haynie (lead vocals), Christine Lau (strings), John Lecce (guitar and vocals), and Kenneth Parks (keyboard and vocals); retired faculty member Pete Robinson (guitar and vocals); community band members Burnard Tate (drums) and Frank Bumpass (saxophone); and student backup singers Sam Crouse, Charlie Hooks, Jonyca Jiao, and Skylar Taylor.  

Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door.  All proceeds go to the Jamaica Education Fund, which supports educational needs for children in Kingston, Jamaica.
