Parent Alliance Ambassador Service
Parent Alliance Ambassadors are selected current students and parents who help new families transition to Baylor by welcoming them into the school community. There are two areas of focus: (1) helping new day students in grades 7-12; (2) helping new boarding students in grades 9-12.
Ambassadors for Day Families
Because the sixth grade is the school’s main point of entry for day families, the parents and students in this grade begin building as sense of community almost immediately. The Day Ambassadors service is designed for day families in seventh grade and above. The purpose of the program is to:
1. Improve communication between Baylor School and new day families
2. Help new day families transition as they start their Baylor experience
In the late spring and throughout the summer, new families are matched with a current Baylor family. In partnership with the school administration, a new family’s parent ambassador serves as a resource for questions that may arise throughout the year. If you have any questions regarding this service or are interested in volunteering, please contact Tana Wilson or Windie McGinness.
Ambassadors for Boarding Families
