We're not surprised, but it's worth noting that Architectural Digest recently highlighted Baylor School in a listing of the "most beautiful" private high schools in each state.
In the feature, Architectural Digest selected institutions that they consider "the most beautiful private high schools in America." Baylor School was selected, in part, due to its "beautiful location overlooking the Tennessee River" and its "matching cluster of red brick buildings ... boasting picturesque views of the natural landscape."
Many of the older buildings on Baylor's historic 690-acre campus were designed in the English Collegiate style by the architectural firm W.T. Downing, one of Atlanta's most prominent architects at the turn of the twentieth century.
