Dear Baylor Alumni, Friends & Family,
We wanted to share a new publication with you outlining Baylor’s plans to open school safely and in person this fall.
You may view it here.
While we do not take the challenges of holding school on campus during a pandemic lightly, we believe that we are uniquely positioned among the nation’s great schools to reassemble next month. That confidence is buoyed by our ability to test faculty, students, and employees for COVID-19 before school begins and regularly throughout the year.
As you will read, Baylor’s unique capacity to conduct school is a direct result of the amazing work of our research scientists, Drs. Elizabeth Forrester and Dawn Richards, and that of our Health Center Director Mary Catherine Robbins. Further, we are supported by a team of medical advisors and building sanitizing experts. Finally, the Baylor Board of Trustees has committed the direction and resources necessary to provide our students the closest possible facsimile of the Baylor Experience of which we are all so proud.
In my 40-year career, I have never been so excited to start a school year. Let’s go!
