Baylor's wrestling and swimming teams brought home four state championships this past weekend.
The Baylor wrestling team won its 25th TSSAA state championship Saturday, taking the program's 11th state duals title with a decisive 46-22 win over Christian Brothers in the championship finals. The championship is added to the 14 traditional state titles and one state championship that pre-dates the TSSAA. With championships in only two events, the Baylor girls', boys', and combined swimming and diving teams used the squad's depth to virtually sweep the state championships in Knoxville this weekend. The combined Raider team won its 15th straight state title, the Baylor girls repeated as state champs, and the Baylor boys tied with McCallie for the crown in a meet that came down to the final relay.
