Congratulations to the 186 members of Baylor's Class of 2021, who returned from the annual senior trip on Friday, May 28, and graduated on Saturday, May 29 in an outdoor commencement ceremony at Heywood Stadium under sunny skies and with blissfully cool temperatures.
The morning also featured remarks by retiring Headmaster Scott Wilson '75, and co-valedictorian Alyssa Kim, a day student from Ringgold, Ga. who will attend Washington University in St. Louis. Yiyang "Matthew" An, a boarding student from Shanghai, China, was also named co-valedictorian but was not in the U.S. for graduation. He will attend the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. With co-valedictorians, no salutatorian award was given.
Class of 2021 Awards Day Recipients
Baylor celebrated the annual Awards Day tradition on May 19, combining it with the Senior Luncheon in a decked out Guerry Tennis Center with catering by the local restaurant, Stir, and a keynote address by Guru Shah '06.
