Latest Episode of the Quadpod Pays Tribute to Rev. Dan Scott

Every year, we have the difficult task of saying goodbye to faculty and staff who are beginning that new chapter in life we call retirement.  Such is the case this year for Reverend Dan Scott, who has faithfully served as our chaplain since 2003.

On this Quadpod episode titled "Faith and Friends," we take a tour through the decades with Bill Cushman ’59 as we seek to understand the chaplaincy at Baylor and how it has evolved over the years (1:20), we speak with assistant headmaster Shaw Wilson ’84 about what the school is looking for in hiring its next chaplain (17:20), and finally we speak with Dan himself about his time at Baylor (24:40).

Nestled between the interviews are some special readings and tributes to Dan featuring familiar voices.  Senior Harrison Williams composed the music for this episode (with the exception of the final track).

The Quadpod is a podcast highlighting the life in the Baylor community and featuring content created by digital narratives instructor Mike Kelly and students enrolled in his class. Episodes are shared on all major platforms once they are available.

Enjoy #Quadversations!

(Note:  an announcement on Rev. Scott's replacement will be made later this spring).
