Howard Leads Baylor in Big Win Over Brentwood

Baylor 28, Brentwood Academy 17. Elijah Howard rushed for 271 yards on 26 carries, and scored four touchdowns to lead the Baylor football team to its finest regular season record since 2011 Friday, beating Brentwood Academy in Nashville 28-17. Howard's TD runs were 27 yards, 33 yards, two yards, and 36 yards.

The win makes the Raiders 9-1 for the first time since 2011 when Baylor eventually finished as state runner-up for a second consecutive year. Baylor, 4-1 in region play finishes as second seed from the East Region and will host Montgomery Bell Academy in the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs on November 15.
