A Dominant Team Performance Leads Baylor to 5-0 Record

Baylor 24, Ensworth 14.  A dominant defensive performance helped lead the Raiders to a 24-14 win over district opponent Ensworth Friday night.

Junior Elijah Howard ignited the Red Raider offense with a 31-yard touchdown in the second quarter to tie the game and the offense never looked back. The Raiders continued to find success on the ground as Elijah Howard had a touchdown run of 38-yards and punched in another from 3-yards out. Anthony Weekley added a 32-yard field goal and tacked on three PAT kicks. The Raider defense was stout and stifled the high powered Ensworth offense.

Baylor, 5-0, has a bye week and then plays hometown rival McCallie, also 5-0 on the year, on October 4th in what will surely be an exciting matchup.
