Science and Engineering Symposium is May 7

Don’t miss Baylor’s eighth annual Science and Engineering Symposium on Tuesday, May 7, from 5–7 p.m. in the Weeks science building.

Projects include an array of studies that involve gene expression and behavioral assays of the model organism C. elegans, examining host-symbiont interactions in the environment, embedded systems for robotics, the pursuit of sustainable practices on campus, and applications of machine learning across several science and engineering disciplines.

Science Department Chair Jesse Young is excited about the work Baylor students will present.  "Many of our young scientists are excited to share the research they have been investigating.  Several have pursued their topic for three years and have produced results that are often only found in universities."
