Baylor Website Redesign Wins w3 Gold Award

Baylor's new website, which launched June 30, 2023, has won Gold distinction for its work with Finalsite in the 18th annual w3 Awards.

Established in 2005, the w3 Awards celebrate digital excellence by honoring outstanding work across websites, marketing, video, mobile sites & apps, social, podcasts, and emerging tech. The jury holds entries to a high standard, seeing thousands each year from across the globe.

The w3 Awards is sanctioned by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), an invitation-only body consisting of leading digital marketing and creative experts.  AIVA members come from organizations such as Publicis Sapient, Walt Disney Studios, Meta, Netflix, LG, IBM, Amazon, NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Wired Magazine, R/GA and many others.

The completely revamped online presence offers a more interactive, modern, and visually appealing platform for prospective families and others who are interested in learning more about Baylor.  Leading with a new video at the top of the main page, a vertical scroll slowly unveils panel after panel of differentiators, school divisions, video loops, and leading programs while capturing the fuller campus community experience.

Notable New Features Include...

  • Engaging panels through the site to call out program highlights, student life, giving opportunities, and video testimonials.
  • Simplified and modern navigation.
  • New video content throughout.
  • An interactive campus map.
