Baylor Begins 133rd School Year with Record Enrollment

Baylor’s 133rd school year officially kicked off on Wednesday, Aug. 13, with 1,116 students enrolled, including 360 Middle School students, 516 Upper School day students, and a record-setting 240 boarding students as boarding capacity continues to expand, making up nearly one-third of Baylor's Upper School student body.

Our day students arrive from 18 different area schools and from families who have recently relocated from other states. On the residential side, our domestic boarding students represent 19 different states, while our international students, constituting 29% of our boarding community, come to us from 18 countries across four continents.

Over the past year, the admission team handled another record number of applications and posted another record-low selectivity rate across both our day and boarding applicant pools.
