(Note: Elmer Rule and Edward Whiteside are the only alumni to serve as head coaches of Baylor's football team.)

Phil Massey's Red Raiders have been state runner-up twice.


David Bibee coached Baylor to two state semifinal berths.


Fred Hubbs served as head coach for two different tenures.


Red Etter was the third winningest coach in Tennessee history. His 1973 Baylor team was state and national champion.
