Designed for those with diving experience and planning to compete in US Diving/AAU competitions. Designed for divers working on a full USA Diving list on both boards.


COACHED BY LANE WINCHESTER

Lane Winchester brings a unique combination of experience with a diving career that spans more than 20 years, 15 years of coaching, and 17 years of professional experience in program design and leadership.

As a diver, she began her career at the historic Moss Farms Diving program where she earned a Georgia High School State Championship for Colquitt County High School. She garnered multiple Junior Olympic National Team memberships, a bronze medal in the 1999 World Championships, and numerous memberships on the U.S. Senior National Team. She and her synchronized partner, Lauryn McCauley Nyday, were national champions in 3-meter springboard synchronized diving. At the University of Alabama, she was a three-time team captain, competed at the NCAA championships all four years, and earned multiple SEC titles and an NCAA title.

Winchester’s coaching career began as the developmental and summer camp coach for the Moss Farms program, where she helped turn recreational divers into members of the club team and successful divers in high schools, clubs, and colleges. She continued coaching the club team while at the University of Alabama and, after graduation, moved to Atlanta to join the Atlanta Diving Association as club coach at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. She led several divers to state and national success with a few joining Division-1 programs. She also served as a U.S. National Team Selection Judge for USA Diving.

Winchester is a member of the Colquitt County Sports Hall of Fame, The Georgia Aquatic Hall of Fame and the University of Alabama Hall of Fame.
