Winter Band and Orchestra Concert

Middle School Play:  The Wizard of Oz:  Youth Edition

THE WIZARD OF OZ: YOUTH EDITION By L. Frank Baum with Music & Lyrics by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg; Background Music by Herbert Stothart; Dance & Vocal Arrangements by Peter Howard; Orchestration by Larry Wilcox; adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Co. Based upon the Classic Motion Picture owned by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed by Warner Bros.  Join Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz, determined to reach the Emerald City, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home.

Spring Musical:  Something Rotten                                       
April 29-May 2 at 7:30 p.m., May 3 at 2:30 p.m.

The Baylor Players present their spring musical Something Rotten. Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rockstar known as “The Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theater involves singing, dancing, and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical.

Chattanooga Area Middle School Choir Festival

Members of the Baylor Middle School Choir rehearse and perform in this special festival with singers from local middle school programs under the direction of Prof. Mary Biddlecombe (Vanderbilt University).

Chattanooga Area Private School Band Clinic & Concert        
Feb. 26-27
Band students audition for placement in this honor ensemble consisting of their peers from other independent and private schools in the Chattanooga area.

American Choral Directors Association Southern Region Honor Choir
March 4-7, 2026
Cannon Center for the Performing Arts (Memphis )

Singers in grades 10-12 will rehearse and perform with other singers selected by audition from across the 11-state ACDA Southern region.

Tennessee Music Educators Association All-State Honor Ensembles                  
April 9-12, 2026
Gaylord Opryland (Nashville)

Instrumentalists and singers in grades 10-12 will rehearse and perform with other singers selected by audition from across Tennessee.

This show will display all the submissions from this year's Scholastic Art Awards. All awards received will be displayed with the work in the gallery.

A curated photography show of the work by Fine Arts Instructor Bruno Pocco’s students in Photography I and II, with an emphasis on dynamic compositions and large-scale prints.

Advance Placement exhibit featuring work by 2D, Drawing and 3D Design students.  The show features year-long portfolios of selected works and sustained investigation pieces.
