Leslie Davenport has been associated with the school for a number of years as her husband, Jeff, and their sons, Jeff Jr. and Jarvis, graduated from Baylor in 1970, 1997, and 2002 respectively. Leslie is responsible for coordinating all special events at Baylor, from admission to graduation.
She served as the varsity coach for the Baylor boys and girls bowling teams in the past and was named 2005 Tennessee State Bowling Coach of the year. She also serves as the faculty sponsor for Red Circle.
Before coming to Baylor, Davenport worked at Lookout Mountain School. She is also involved with a number of volunteer organizations in Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain. Davenport served as Fire and Police Commissioner for the Town of Lookout Mountain, TN. She is a past board member of Family and Children Services and is a past president and sustaining member of the Junior League of Chattanooga. Originally from Atlanta and a graduate from Lovett School, Davenport has lived on Lookout Mountain for over 30 years.
