A member of the sixth grade faculty during her first year at Baylor, Linda taught humanities and fine arts. As the Director of Student Diversity and Development, she brings the same communication skills that she had as an instructor. Her office is located in Lupton Hall where she wants the students to have easy access to her, dropping by throughout the day. She works closely with parents as well, building relationships and keeping lines of communication open. She believes in finding positives and dealing openly and quickly with negatives. Linda also works closely with the admission office.
Before coming to Baylor, Linda taught for the Hamilton County Department of Education. Linda and her husband, Charles, have two daughters, Courtney and Chrystal '04, and two grandchildren.
