From LEGO® to jewelry design, to dance and nerf, our popular enrichment camps provide kids the opportunity to try cool new experiences on our amazing campus. Our excellent camper-to-staff ratio also ensures that each camper has a high level of interaction and supervision.

Join us for a week of Art Exploration with local artist, Emily Anderson. Campers will have a new activity each day including clay, paper-maché, painting, drawing, and tie-dye. Each week has a different theme & projects for a summer full of creative opportunities!

- Drop-off/Pick-up: Camp starts at 9 a.m. Counselors will be ready and waiting for you at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Ireland Studio Arts Center (#11 on the campus map). Pick-up is at 12 p.m. in front of the Ireland Studio Arts Center.
- Full Day Campers: If you want to enjoy a full day of camp, you can register for an afternoon session or our Extended Day option, which is an additional $200 per week. Counselors will assist in transitioning campers from their morning session to lunch and then to their afternoon session. Lunch in the dining hall is provided for all full-day campers. Baylor’s talented Fine Arts faculty will offer excellence in instruction for all campers who attend this camp, where skills, knowledge, and, especially, confidence will be at the forefront of instruction. This week-long camp features daily workshops in acting, voice, and movement designed to strengthen each camper in individual and ensemble work, in addition to gaining stronger stage presence, confidence, and comfort in front of an audience. Our student counselors are experienced Baylor performers who encourage and help support all levels of experience.

Woodworking - Skilled Craftsmen, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Ages 10-13 (Tues-Fri only) *SESSION FULL! Register for a spot on the waitlist!*
Our woodworking camp is a camper favorite! Rising 6th – 8th grades woodworking enthusiasts have the opportunity to read plans, design their own patterns, and bring their creations to life! Campers will use a variety of tools in Baylor's set design workshop each day.

Campers should have a basic knowledge of Lego® building blocks and be prepared to be creative in this classic non-motorized building camp. While all Lego® builds must remain at camp we will take daily photos and video of all builds and provide them for digital download to parents.

Dance, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Ages 5-7
Join us for a fun-filled dance camp and get a taste of all that Baylor dance has to offer! Led by Baylor dance instructor Elizabeth Roemer, students will study a variety of dance techniques including ballet, modern and jazz/hip-hop. Campers will also have opportunities to create their own movement studies. A special friends and family showcase will take place on the final Friday of camp in the dance studio.

Get back to nature and take robots with you! Find out how inventive and imaginative animals and plants surrounding us can truly be, then recreate them with bricks and code. Working in teams this Lego® Robotics camp jumpstarts kid’s exploration of coding while using the Lego® blocks they love. Cartooning, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ages 7-12
Comics and Cartoonist James L. Barry, illustrator for the Warriors graphic novels by Erin Hunter, teaches comics and cartooning to elementary students. Young artists will learn the steps to draw their own characters and how to tell a story in the comic book format using traditional tools. This is a fun and exciting class for anyone interested in art and storytelling.

Dance, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ages 8-11
Join us for a fun-filled dance camp and get a taste of all that Baylor dance has to offer! Led by Baylor dance instructor Elizabeth Roemer, students will study a variety of dance techniques including ballet, modern and jazz/hip-hop. Campers will also have opportunities to create their own movement studies. A special friends and family showcase will take place on the final Friday of camp in the dance studio.

Working in teams this Lego® Robotics camp jumpstarts kid’s exploration of coding while using the Lego® blocks they love. For this craft and sewing camp students will learn some basic hand sewing stitches as well as get the chance to learn how to use a sewing machine. They will also be taking some old materials and giving them a second life as a new and different item. Some of these projects include:

Baylor’s talented Fine Arts faculty will offer excellence in instruction for all campers who attend this camp, where skills, knowledge, and, especially, confidence will be at the forefront of instruction. This week-long camp features daily workshops in acting, voice, and movement designed to strengthen each camper in individual and ensemble work, in addition to gaining stronger stage presence, confidence, and comfort in front of an audience. Our student counselors are experienced Baylor performers who encourage and help support all levels of experience.

Cartooning, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ages 7-12
Comics and Cartoonist James L. Barry, illustrator for the Warriors graphic novels by Erin Hunter, teaches comics and cartooning to elementary students. Young artists will learn the steps to draw their own characters and how to tell a story in the comic book format using traditional tools. This is a fun and exciting class for anyone interested in art and storytelling.

Join us for a week of Nerf tactical scenarios including skills training, obstacle courses, and team games including Capture the Flag. Campers are encouraged to bring their favorite Nerf gun and ammo, but we will also have a few extras on hand.

Brick Lab: City Camp-LEGO Robotics, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Ages 6-12 *SESSION FULL! Register for a spot on the waitlist!*
Modern cities operate thanks to computers, helpful machines, and engineering solutions that we use almost every single day. Working in teams of two campers will use the Lego® WeDo 2.0 technology to understand the world around them by building and coding robots. While all Lego® builds must remain at camp we will take daily photos and video of all builds and provide them for digital download to parents.

Brick Lab: LEGO Movie Maker, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ages 7-12
Lights, Camera, LEGO®! Welcome to the exciting world of Stop Motion Movies; working in teams, campers will learn many of the elements of film production while creating multiple stop-motion films using Lego® bricks and mini-figures. As part of the film making process, kids will learn to write scripts using story boards, create characters, do voice overs and film. All stop-motion films produced in this camp will be available for digital download to share with friends and family.
- Limited to 24 campers per session
- Drop-off/Pick-up: Camp starts at 1 p.m. Counselors will be ready and waiting for you at 12:30 p.m. in front of the Student Center (#23 on the campus map). Pick-up is at 4 p.m. in front of the Student Center.

Campers will explore contemporary methods for making fun jewelry. We will learn how to make paper beads and clay jewelry as well as stringing techniques and basic wire wrapping skills. At the end of the week, campers will have an array of jewelry to bring home.

Riflery, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Ages 10-14
New for Summer 2023! Baylor Riflery!
Join Baylor Faculty James Scott and Robin Fazio on campus to learn, develop and employ all that the sport of marksmanship has to offer.
Campers in this half-day camp will use air rifles to learn safety, maintenance, and proper technique for handling an air rifle while developing their ability to focus and act responsibly in a safe environment with trained instructors.
This new camp welcomes 10–14-year-old campers of all experience levels.

English Standardized Test Prep, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ages 14-17
Designed for upper-school students, new and returning, Baylor Test Prep Camp provides a concentrated focus on grammatical structures as a way to help students write correctly and to perform effectively both in class and on college-entrance tests.
The camp will focus on the Writing and Language Test of the PSAT and SAT and on the English Test of the ACT.
