Within minutes of our campus lie some of the nation’s most beautiful settings for kayaking, rafting, hiking, biking (road and mountain), rock climbing, paddle boarding, hang gliding, and more.

Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Chattanooga is known for its natural beauty.  The city (and our campus) is surrounded by mountains, rivers, and forests, and within minutes of our campus you will find some of the nation’s most beautiful settings for kayaking, rafting, hiking, biking, rock climbing, paddle boarding, and more.

Nearby Shops and Restaurants
For those interested in a more laid back experience, a stroll across the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge takes you from hip shops and restaurants in the NorthShore neighborhood to cultural gems in the Bluff View Arts District. The Hunter Museum of American Art has one of the nation’s largest collections of American art and a few blocks farther downtown, you can meet more than 10,000 animals at the Tennessee Aquarium.

Vibrant Arts and Culture
The Hunter Museum of American Art is situated on a bluff overlooking the Tennessee River and has one of the nation’s largest collections of American art.  Located in the same area, the Bluff View Arts District is a creative haven where you roam through a sculpture garden or browse the River Gallery which features exhibits of fine art and museum quality crafts from local, regional, national and international artists. 

The "Go Green" City
