Baylor Golf teams have been remarkably successful establishing a long tradition of championship golf.

- Have won 18 TSSAA championships, including 16 consecutive titles (95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, '09, '10, '12, '13). Both are TSSAA records in any sport.
- Six different Baylor golfer has won 13 individual state championships. Brooke Pancake is the state's only four-time champ.
- Chattanooga City Prep champions 95, 96, 97, 98, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04. 05, 06, 07.
- Region team champs in 95, 96, 97, 98, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07
- May Wood was North/South Girls Champion 01; North/South Women’s Champion 02; SEC Champion 04 (Vanderbilt).

- Have won 18 TSSAA state championships (1988, 89, 93, 94, 95, 96, 99, 2000, 01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, '12, '15, '18).
- Five Baylor golfers have won six individual state championships.
- Region 2 champs in 93, 94, 95, 96, 99, 00, 01, 02. 03. 04, 05, 06, 07.
- Lowest competitive total for TSSAA individual record with a 132 total and a record-setting 9 under par 63 the last round by Richard Spangler. 1996 team set up TSSAA record of 566 10 under par.
- 2001 team set a second scoring record of 7 under par 271 at TSSAA tournament and had the second lowest team total in the history of TSSAA with 579.
- Have won 13 Chattanooga City Prep Championships
- Won the first team playoff in TSSAA history in 2000 (592 team total) by beating MUS (two under par to 5 over par) on 37th hole.
- Luke List, class of 2003, named Player of the Year by Chattanooga Time/Free Press for 4 consecutive years 99, 00, 01, 02. Scoring average for last two years: 35.35; Region champion in 99, 00, 01and 02, the only 4-time winner in TSSAA history; state medalist each of these 4 years as well; won Donald Ross Invitational at Pinehurst 02, the WorldCom Junior at Hilton Head 02, and was runner-up in the 02 Western Junior at Sea Island; qualified and played in the 2003 U.S. Open; named AJGA All-American 02.
- Harris English was region champion in 2005.
