Baylor 16, MBA 12. Baylor picked up its first lacrosse victory ever against Montgomery Bell Academy Saturday, beating the Big Red 16-12.

Trey McDonald scored five goals and was credited with two assists for the Raiders, Jack Forrester scored six goals, Eli Bowen had two goals and three assists, and Brody Listen had three goals and one assist. Jackson Phillips won 17 of 31 faceoffs and combined with Tyler Rice and Weston Carico to win 16 groundballs. Defensive standouts were Dacorian Jones-Montgomery, Watson Brown, Spence Fieldman, and Dalton Restelli with goalie Lake Wheeler earning the win with a season-best 12 saves.

Baylor, 9-1 overall and 2-0 in league play, hosts Christian Brothers Friday.
