Baylor junior Ellie Waldrep set two national independent high school records at the Springhill Suites Elite swim meet at Baylor Saturday. Waldrep is a two-event qualifier for the Olympic Trials.
Along with the Raider teams, the three-way dual meet featured Cardinal Gibbons High School of Raleigh, N.C. and McDonogh School of Owings Mills, Md. The Baylor girls beat both visiting teams while the boys beat Cardinal Gibbons but lost to McDonogh. Baylor teams will host CSAS, Cleveland, and Notre Dame Thursday.
