Baylor 24, Coffee County 14. Amari Jefferson threw for two touchdowns and finished with more than 150 passing yards as the Baylor Middle School football team beat Coffee County 24-14 in the season opener Tuesday. Jefferson also rushed for more than 50 yards including a 2-point conversion.

The TD passes were caught by Zane Restelli, who finished with over 100 yards, and Grady Joyner. Camerons Sparks ran for the other Raider TD as well as two 2-point conversions.

Defensive standouts include Tyler Rice, Nelson McKnight, Preston Kincer, Emerson Petty, and Charles Byrd.

Baylor, 1-0, plays at Cleveland next Thursday.
