MVP Hendricks Leads Unbeaten Raiders to Best of Preps Title

Led by 23 points and strong floor play by tournament MVP senior Beyuan Hendricks, the Baylor boys' basketball team won its first ever Times Free Press Best of Preps Tournament Saturday, beating East Hamilton 61-57 in the title game. The win was also the 11th straight for the undefeated Raiders.

Baylor had beaten Signal Mountain 79-45 in the tourney's first round on Thursday and topped Brainerd 45-33 in Friday's semifinals.

Joining Hendricks on the All-Tournament team were senior Lorenzo White and sophomore Nick Kurtz.

Baylor, 11-0, hosts Webb Saturday.
