Monday's Baylor-Cleveland Middle School Hoops

Cleveland 33, Baylor Girls 15. Cleveland beat Baylor 33-15 in Middle School girls' basketball action at Baylor Monday. Holly Merritt and Virginia Byrd scored four points each for the Raiders; Addi Yates, Kaylee Snyder, and Julia McCracken added two points apiece; and Franny Brooksbank scored one point. Baylor, 7-6, wraps up the season hosting Chattanooga Christian Saturday.

Baylor Boys 43, Cleveland 30. Cameron Sparks scored 21 points and Zane Restelli added 18, with two 3-pointers, to lead the Baylor boys in a 43-30 win over Cleveland. Ash Brown and Nelson McKnight scored two points each for the Raiders. Baylor, 9-4, hosts Chattanooga Christian Saturday.

Cleveland 45, Baylor MSJV Girls 7. Lilly Catalanatto scored five points and Franny Brooksbank added two as Cleveland beat Baylor 45-7 in Middle School JV action. Baylor MSJV, 3-7, hosts Chattanooga Christian Saturday.

Cleveland 36, Baylor MSJV Boys 35. Cleveland also won the MSJV boys' game by a narrow 36-35 margin. Carson Lawrence led the Raiders with 11 points (one 3-pointer), Matt Dill added 10 (two 3s), Luke Smith had nine points (one 3-pointer), and Bolton Born scored five points (one 3-pointer). Baylor MSJV, 5-6, hosts Chattanooga Christian Saturday.
