Knox Catholic Spoils Baylor Home Finales

Knox Catholic 47, Baylor Girls 45. The Baylor girls' basketball team wrapped up the regular season with a narrow 47-45 loss to Knox Catholic in Duke Arena Friday night. Raegyn Conley led the Raiders with six 3-pointers and 22 points.

Cadashia Collins hit two 3s and finished with eight points for Baylor, Bella White added eight points with one 3-pointer, Emma Martin scored four points, and Britt Barton was good on one 3-pointer.

Baylor, 10-10 for the regular season, plays at Ensworth Friday at 6 p.m. ET in the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs.

Knox Catholic 68, Baylor Boys 61. The Baylor boys' basketball team also ended its regular season on a losing note Friday, falling at home to Knox Catholic 68-61. Al Peciulis led the Raiders with 17 points with Troy Boynton adding 16.

Robert Morton hit four 3-pointers for 12 points, Zane Restelli hit two 3s and finished with 10 points, Eli Sparkman had four points with one 3-pointer, and Cameron Sparks scored two points.

Baylor finishes the regulars season 13-5 and will play a state quarterfinal game at either Montgomery Bell Academy or Brentwood Academy later this week.
