Four Raiders Qualify for State Diving

Baylor senior Michael Gullage finished first in the boys' division of the Southeastern Tennessee Regional High School Diving Championships at Baylor on Friday, Jan. 25. Gullage posted 269.5 points for the title.

In the girls' division, Baylor sophomore Haley Rice was second (325.85 points), senior Eva Binder was third (310.25), and senior Olivia Bettis was fifth (296.30).

All four divers qualify for the Tennessee State High School Swimming and Diving Championships on Feb. 8 and 9 at the Tracy Caulkins Sportsplex Aquatic Center in Nashville.

Baylor Swimming Wins 14th Straight Combined State Title; Girls Back on Throne; Boys Third

The Baylor swimming and diving team won its 28th combined Tennessee Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA) state championship Saturday, the 14th straight title, while the Baylor girls returned to the state throne for the 15th time, the first time since 2013. The Baylor boys were third.
