Baylor junior Evie Culbreath capped off a remarkable 2022 track season with a second individual title, two second-place finishes, and anchored a third-place relay team at the state championship meet Wednesday. The Baylor girls finished third in the team standings behind champion Harpeth Hall and runner-up Ensworth.
After winning the state pentathlon last week, Culbreath became the state champion in the 100 meter hurdles Wednesday, crossing first in 14.55. She was second in the long jump (17-03) and the 200 meter dash (25.72), and teamed up with freshmen Franny Brooksbank and Maelynn Adams-Cook and junior Julia Kaufman to place third in the 4 X 100 meter relay (50.14).
Baylor also posted a runner-up finish in the 4 X 800 meter relay with junior Helen Webb, senior Laney Fowler, sophomore Mae Mae Powe, and freshman Addi Greene combining to cross in 9:45.13.

The Baylor boys finished 10th in the team standings, paced by a second-place finish in the 800 meter run (1:58.37) by sophomore Garrison Corley. Finishing fourth was the 4 X 800 meter relay team of juniors Bowen Allan, Burke Murphy, Chris Knight, and senior Xian Campbell. Also for Baylor, senior Jeremiah Skipworth finished eighth in the 100 meter dash.
