Conley Scores 27 to Lead Baylor Girls Win; Boys Nipped by Lions

Baylor Girls 56, Red Bank 45. Raegyn Conley scored 27 points to lead the Baylor girls' basketball team to a 56-45 win over Red Bank in Duke Arena Tuesday night. Conley hit five 3-pointers in the game. Emma Martin had one 3-pointer and added 13 points, Bella White and Cadashia both had two 3s for six points each, and Britt Barton and Macy Ann McKnight scored two points apiece. Red Bank was led by Bailey Lee with 19 points.

Baylor, 11-5, plays at Notre Dame Friday.

Red Bank 41, Baylor Boys 40. The Baylor boys had their seven-game winning streak snapped with a one-point loss, 41-40, to Red Bank. Baylor's Nick Kurtz was held to 11 points, Eli Sparkman added nine points with three 3-pointers, Alonas Peciulis had eight points, Ivan Reap had two 3s for six points, Neyland Jean had one 3-pointer, and Gehrig Ebel scored three points. Red Bank's Lucas Brown led all scorers with 26 points.

Baylor, 8-3, plays at Notre Dame Friday.

Baylor JV Boys 50, Red Bank 39. Evan Haynie scored 17 points and Kale Johnson added 15 as the Baylor JV boys beat Red Bank 50-39. Elliott Eischeid scored eight points, Dalton Restelli and Pete Collins had four each, and Patrick Johnson scored two points.
