Baylor Girls Second at Front Runner, Seniors Honored

Freshman Addi Greene was second overall and junior Helen Webb was fifth, leading the Baylor girls' cross country team to a close second place finish at the Front Runner Athletics Chattanooga Area Championships at Baylor Thursday. Signal Mountain was the team winner with 56 points, nipping Baylor with 58. The CSTHEA Patriots were a very close third with 60 points and GPS finished fourth with 68.

Greene ran a 19:13 while Webb crossed in 20:03. Junior Addison Johnson (12th, 20:44), freshman Laney Fowler (14th, 20:55), and junior Charlotte Ann Haddock (26th, 22:14) rounded out the Baylor scoring. For complete results, visit tn.milesplit.com.

Baylor won the JV girls' race with senior Maddie Perry finishing second and freshman Ella Grace Lazenby fifth. See JV results here.
