Baylor's girls' and boys' basketball teams ended their seasons this weekend with losses in the quarterfinal round of the state championships.
Ensworth 70, Baylor Girls 55. The Baylor girls' basketball team was eliminated from the state playoffs with a 70-55 loss at Ensworth Friday. Raegyn Conley hit two 3-pointers and finished with 18 points to lead the Raiders, Bella White added 15 points, Cadashia Collins had three 3s for nine points, Emma Martin had six points, Kailee Johnson scored five points with one 3-pointer, and Britt Barton scored two points.
Baylor ends the season with a 10-11 record.
Brentwood Academy 55, Baylor Boys 40. Troy Boynton scored 12 points to lead the Baylor boys in a 55-40 state quarterfinal loss at Brentwood Academy Saturday. Cameron Sparks added 10 points and made one 3-pointer, Zane Restelli hit two 3s and finished with seven points, Eli Sparkman and Al Peciulis had four points each, and Robert had one 3-point goal.
Baylor ends the season 13-6.
