Baylor, GPS Split Middle School Games

GPS 38, Baylor MS Girls 26, OT. GPS outscored the Raiders 12-0 in the overtime period to take a 38-26 win over the Baylor Middle School girls' basketball team Thursday. Addison Yelton led Baylor with eight points, including two free throws to send the game to overtime. She added seven rebounds and three blocked shots.

Elli Kinney added four points, eight rebounds, and five steals, Ellie Carico had four points, Kaylee Snyder scored three points, Addison Yates, Kylie Henderson, and Conleigh Brock had two points each, and Helen Guerry scored one point.

Baylor, 4-8, plays at Cleveland Monday.

Baylor MSJV 21, GPS 6.  In MSJV action, Baylor redeemed the day with a 21-6 win over the Bruisers. Maris Ebel scored six points to lead the Raiders' scoring, Sara Hill and Emery Carico added four points each, Mary Blake Reese and Olivia Crawford had two apiece, and Ellie Carico scored one point. Baylor MSJV, 4-7, hosts Dayton Tuesday.
