Baylor Girls Hit Ten 3s, Rout Seahawks

Baylor 58, Silverdale 38. The Baylor girls' basketball team came out hot despite some COVID-19 restrictions of late, hitting ten 3-pointers in a 58-38 win over Silverdale Tuesday.

Raegyn Conley returned without missing a beat, hitting three 3s and finishing with 25 points to lead the Raiders. Cadashia Collin hit three more 3-pointers on the way to 13 points, Riley Oleksik had two 3s and 10 points, Bella White and Kortney Restelli had one 3-pointer each, and Emma Martin and Holly Merritt scored two points apiece. Ryleigh Hoover led the Seahawks with 11 points and three 3-pointers.

Baylor, 1-5, is scheduled to play in the Smoky Mountain Classic beginning Monday.

Baylor JV 34, Silverdale 31. In JV girls' hoops action, Baylor beat Silverdale 34-31 Tuesday. Emery Carico led the Raiders with 11 points (one 3-pointer) followed by Kaylee Snyder with six points on two 3s, Avery Sanders with six points, Ellie Carico with five (one 3-pointer), Izzy Moore with a 3-pointer, Holly Merritt with two points, and Allison Royal with one point.
