Baylor sophomore swimmer Ellie Waldrep qualified for the 2020 Olympic Team Trials in the 100 meter backstroke, taking sixth in the event at the Atlanta Classic, May 17-19. Waldrep touched in 1:02.14 for her qualifying time.
The Atlanta Classic is competed at the world-class Georgia Tech McAuley Aquatic, the home pool of the 1996 Olympic Games, and features top swimmers from all across the country.
