Three members of Baylor's girls' and boys' cross country teams have been named to the Chattanooga Times Free Press Best of Preps teams.
Two Baylor runners are part of the eight-member girls' all-star team. Freshman Mae Mae Powe was described as "spectacular as she won the DII-AA individual title in 19:02. The freshman phenom also set a PR with an 18:47 at the Southern Showcase." Powe is joined by sophomore Helen Webb, who "ran to her third straight top-10 finish at the state meet. The sophomore placed ninth overall with a time of 20:03."
The Baylor boys were represented well by junior Xian Campbell who "had an average time of 16:30 this past season. He was seventh at the DII-AA state meet in 16:40. He won the Front Runner Invitational in 16:35."
