Baylor senior Mya McGee has signed scholarship papers to continue her soccer career at the University of North Alabama.
McGee, a center midfielder, is a two-time All-State player for Baylor. She was part of Baylor's state championship team in 2017 and scored nine goals and had five assists this year to lead the Raiders to a 14-5-2 record and a state semifinal appearance.
"I am very proud of Mya," said Baylor coach Curtis Blair. "We had a really special group of seniors this year and she was a big part of that group. She battled injuries during the majority of the season but was still very dangerous on and off the ball. Her work rate is extremely high and makes good decisions with the ball."
The UNA Lions played their first full season in the NCAA's Division I this fall, losing in the Atlantic Sun Conference's championship game.
