Baylor Swimmers Competing in Junior Nationals

Seventeen Baylor swimmers will be competing in the 2019 National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) Junior National Championships to be held March 19-23 at the Orlando YMCA Aquatic Center in Orlando, Fla. The Junior Nationals event is one of the top annual swimming competitions in the country for swimmers 18 years old and under. Follow the competition here.

Representing Baylor, and swimming under the Baylor Swim Club banner, will be seniors Jack Kirby, Jamee Mitchum, and Addison Smith; juniors Noah Althoff, Alex Borisov, Heidi Dierig, Jewel Gordon, Will Tippett, Daniel Unhuryan, and Avery Wilson; sophomores Zach Kangeiser, Aidan Sims, Daniel Snyder, Ellie Waldrep, Callie West, and Dallas Woods; and freshman Sarah Hollowell. 

This is the 12th consecutive year that Baylor Swim Club has sent athletes to the Junior Nationals, which features over 1700 swimmers representing more than 250 swim clubs from all over the nation. This year's contingent is the club's largest ever. Baylor has placed in the top 10 three times, placing fourth in 2008, third in 2009, 7th in 2011, eighth in 2012, and 13th in 2013. The boys' team finished fourth in 2014, and fifth in 2017.
