Luke List '03

Inducted 2017

Luke List was a four-time All-State golfer during his years at Baylor. A member of three state championship teams (1999-2001) and four region champions, List was the individual state champion in both his junior and senior years. He was the recipient of Baylor’s Lewis West Oehmig Award for the Most Valuable Player all four years and captained the Red Raider squad his senior year.

List continued his career at Vanderbilt University where he is the Commodores’ only four-time All-SEC player and is in the record book, tied with three others, for the lowest round recorded (63) by a Vandy golfer. He played on two United States teams in the Palmer Cup, an annual team competition between American and European college/university golfers. List was selected to the SEC All Good Works Team in 2006 and the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2007.

In the amateur ranks, List competed in the 2003 U.S. Open and the 2004 Masters, was runner-up at the 2004 U.S. Amateur, and was a semifinalist at the U.S. Public Links Amateur Championships, losing to eventual champ, fellow Vandy alum, and current PGA Tour star Brandt Snedeker.

After turning pro, List played on the Nationwide/Web.com Tour from 2010-2015, earning one win and 13 top ten finishes. He was the fourth-ranked player on the tour in 2012. He joined the PGA Tour in October of 2016 where has posted second and third place finishes and has landed in the top ten five times.

In 2013, List established the Luke List Foundation which provides support for special needs children. List and his wife, Chloe, married in March of 2016.
