USA Fencing has named Baylor's Kristin Vines the high school Coach of the Year for the 2020-21 season. The award is added to a very impressive resume built by Vines both as a coach and a world class fencer.
USA Fencing.org applauds Vines' leadership throughout a season that wasn't. With competitions canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Vines kept the Red Raiders motivated and continued practice sessions for most of the year. She was nominated for the award by a team member, junior Sophia Balleiro.
