Baylor Boasts 15 All-American Swimmers for 2020-21 Season

Baylor had 15 swimmers earn National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) All-American status for the 2020-2021 high school swimming season.

Highlighting the 2020-2021 season was the performance of Auburn University signee Ellie Waldrep '21, All-American in three events including the 100 yard backstroke in which she posted the second-fastest time in the nation. The Baylor girls' 200 medley relay of Waldrep, Breanna Belcher '21, Lydia Bohannon '21, and Callie West '21 (pictured above) was the ninth-fastest in the nation.  All six Baylor relay teams earned All-American honors.

Baylor Individual NISCA All-Americans:

  • Belcher - 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.44)
  • Sam Flack '23 - 500-yard freestyle (4:26.80)
  • Charlie Han '22 - 100-yard breaststroke (55.69)
  • Drew Hitchcock '24 - 200-yard IM (1:49.49 ) | 100-yard butterfly (48.84)
  • Josean Massucco '23 - 500-yard freestyle
  • Waldrep - 100-yard backstroke (51.75) | 50-yard freestyle (23.03) | 200-yard IM (1:58.73)
  • Logan Watson-Brown '21 - 100-yard freestyle (49.89) | 200-yard freestyle (1:49.30)

  • Girls 200-yard Medley Relay (1:42.49) - Waldrep, Belcher, Bohannon, West
  • Boys 200-yard Medley Relay (1:31.76) - Hitchcock, Han, Massucco, Aidan Sims '21
  • Girls 200-yard Freestyle Relay (1:35.09) - Waldrep, Watson-Brown, Belcher, Bohannon
