The Boarding Life

Baylor welcomes international students and we strive to help these important members of our community make a comfortable transition to American boarding school life, while also preparing them for admission to universities around the world.

The English language proficiency of Baylor's international students has improved to the point that we no longer offer a formal EFL program. Instead, students who are not native English speakers improve their language skills daily through interactions in the classroom, the dining hall, and the dormitory.

Baylor's Residential Life department helps international students make the transition to boarding life and a full schedule of weekend activities help students feel a part of the Baylor family.

With students from 13 countries and 25 states, Baylor's boarding community is rich in diversity and worldviews.
