Joe Bakewell joins Baylor as a physical education instructor and an associate head wrestling coach.  Originally from Elizabeth, Pa., he graduated from McDaniel College in Westminster, Md. with a B.S. in Physical Education and Sociology.  He spent 27 years at The McDonogh School in Maryland as a teacher and varsity wrestling coach, middle school dean, and 10th grade dean of students from 1994-2021. Most recently, he served as a lower school P.E. instructor and coached varsity wrestling at Lake Highland Prep in Orlando, Fla.
