Biography

A native of South Carolina, Adam Weaver earned a BS in mathematics and computer science from the University of Richmond. He then went to Vanderbilt University for graduate school and completed his master’s degree in 2006; he is in the process of completing the requirements for his PhD. When Adam taught math as a graduate student, he discovered that he preferred teaching to class work and research, which led him to seek his current position at Baylor.

“The hard work and enthusiasm for learning demonstrated by my students make my job very easy,” said Adam. His advice to Baylor students is Figure out what it is that you love to do and pursue it. You are surrounded by talented people who are able to help you succeed and eager to do so.”

Adam and his wife, Jessica, have a daughter and three sons.
