Karen has won multiple Teacher of the Year accolades, served as department chair, and brings with her nearly 25 years of classroom excellence in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. She has taught all levels of secondary math and is a consummate planner and organizer who brings enthusiasm for math and learning to her classroom. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for her undergraduate work in Math Education before earning a master's degree in subject from Western Governors University. Karen also holds an Education Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Karen lives in north Georgia and loves spending time with her son and grandson.
