English Language and Academic Support
Although Baylor does not offer a formal English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program, the Baylor Learning Center provides support to international students in building their English language skills. Plus, extra help sessions provide additional opportunities for students to interact with teachers on a one-to-one basis.
Throughout their first year at Baylor, international students may attend the Learning Center during one of their class periods. The Learning Center is an open environment where students can work at their own level and speed to build their English language skills and is a comfortable space for students to discuss any academic struggles or concerns. After the first year, international students may be required to attend sessions in the Learning Center for additional support, based on language skills or academic progress.
Whether required or not, students are always welcome to make use of the Learning Center for academic support in any subject during regular Learning Center hours.
College Counseling for International Students

Along with academic support, TOEFL, SAT, and ACT preparation is offered to juniors and seniors interested in improving their test scores related to the university application process.
